- The National Clinical Audit Advisory Group has been established to 'drive the reinvigoration of clinical audit', and provides comments and discusison on issues in audit.
- National Audit and Governance Group is an informal discussion forum on clinical audit.
- Clinical Audit Support Centre is a privately-run company based in Leicester. 'The Clinical Audit Support Centre offers a new and innovative approach to the delivery of clinical audit. It is our aim to facilitate and support audit projects that improve patient care and enhance service delivery. We work in partnership with healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals to deliver practical and user-friendly quality improvement materials that represent excellent value for money.'

- The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) was established in April 2008 to promote quality in healthcare, and in particular to increase the impact that clinical audit has on healthcare quality in England and Wales. It is led by a consortium of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, the Royal College of Nursing and National Voices (formerly the Long-term Conditions Alliance).
